The GT is a 1972 model, made in January 1972. It lived its whole live in California before it came to live with us in Colorado. It's had an eventful life over the years. It started off as Aqua, a turquoise color. This was covered up with red paint at some point, then later the car was sprayed black. The interior was also changed, with all interior trim painted a tan color to match the (new?) upholstery. In both cases, the color changing was done fairly well.

The car joined the fleet because Janel wanted a fun little car for tooling around town. The GT has a very cool style and looks really good in black. She also wants a little car that sounds really mean, so the plan is for the car to get a V8 conversion. First, though, it needs to get back into shape!
